NA/70 SESAME for the evaluation of economic development and social change
Keuning, Steven J. (1994).This paper elaborates on the concept of a System of Economic and Social Accounting Matrices and Extensions, or SESAME for short. The SESAME-concept serves to meet the criticism that conventional national accounts take a too limited view at social, environmental and economic development. SESAME details the monetary accounts and couples non-monetary information in an integral system approach. SESAME is meant as a synthesis of national accounts and the social indicators approach.
