Deze tabel geeft een overzicht van het aantal gasten en hun overnachtingen in Nederland in alle hotels, motels, pensions, appartementen met hoteldienstverlening, jeugdaccommodaties en bed&breakfasts met ten minste 5 slaapplaatsen en het aantal zakelijke overnachtingen.
De gegevens zijn beschikbaar naar land van herkomst van de gasten (woonland) per landsdeel, provincie, toeristisch landsdeel, vijf grote toeristensteden en hotelsterrenclassificatie (totaal en in Amsterdam).
Gegevens beschikbaar van 1998 tot en met 2012.

Deze tabel wordt opgevolg door een nieuwe reeks logiestabellen. Zie paragraaf 3.
Toelichting onderwerpen
- Gasten uit
- Bezoekers die één of meer nachten achtereen in een hotel, motel, pension, appartement met hoteldienstverlening, jeugdaccommodatie of bed&breakfast met ten minste 5 slaapplaatsen verblijven.
Een gast die meer dan twee maanden aaneengesloten verblijft in een logiesaccommodatie, wordt als vaste gast aangemerkt en telt niet mee voor de statistiek.
Asielzoekers en seizoenarbeiders worden niet als gast meegeteld, ook niet als ze korter dan twee maanden aaneengesloten verblijven in een logiesaccommodatie.
Per maand worden de in die maand vertrokken gasten waargenomen, ongeacht in welke maand de gast aangekomen is. Het is mogelijk dat een persoon twee of meerdere malen in een maand in dezelfde accommodatie of in verschillende accommodaties als gast wordt geteld.- Buitenland
