Producer Price Index
Prices of industrial products are constantly changing. CBS conducts research and publishes monthly figures on these price changes. The figures provide an insight into the Netherlands’ industrial sector. To publish these figures, we need data from producers and importers on the prices they pay and charge themselves. The survey also provides relevant information for your company. For example, these figures can be used for indexing contracts.

The statistical overviews by Statistics Netherlands are compiled in such a way that no data can be traced back to individuals, companies or institutions. The data you submit will only be used to compile statistics.

Obligatory data delivery
As required by the Statistics Netherlands’ law, Statistics Netherland uses as much data as possible from other institutions' files. We examine the usability, timeliness and completeness of the data. If the files do not contain the required data or do not contain it in time, we may request the data from businesses. Under the Law, you are obliged to deliver the requested data on time, completely and free of charge. Failure to do so may cost you money via a fine or an administrative penalty.
