Consumer confidence rising again
Dutch consumer confidence, seasonally corrected, rose in November 2005 in comparison with October. This is the second month in a row that consumer confidence is rising.
Economy up 0.9 percent in third quarter
The Dutch economy grew by 0.9 percent in the third quarter of 2005. The gross domestic product (GDP) was 0.9 percent higher than one year previously.
Dutch inflation rate down to 1.6 percent in October
The Dutch inflation rate in October 2005 decreased to 1.6 percent. In September consumer prices were 1.8 percent higher than in September 2004.
Dutch consumer less pessimistic
After correction for seasonal effects, consumer confidence has risen in October 2005, compared to one month previously. Dutch consumers are less pessimistic about the economic climate.
Growing optimism in manufacturing and commercial services
Producer confidence in the manufacturing industry has risen strongly in October, to 4.3, its highest level since January 2001.
