The business world is constantly changing. The development of industries and their contribution to the Dutch economy are important for business, government and science. Statistics Netherlands (CBS) publishes figures on this. In order to do so, we need data from companies in different industries.

Consolidation

Is your business part of a group company structure? For some group companies, you will need to submit consolidated data. You can find them in the online questionnaire. If you received a letter with the subject ‘Toekomstige enquêtering’, we ask you to submit data in accordance with the agreements in the letter. Privacy

The statistical overviews by Statistics Netherlands are compiled in such a way that no data can be traced back to individuals, companies or institutions. The data you submit will only be used to compile statistics.

Obligatory data delivery

As required by the Statistics Netherlands’ law, Statistics Netherland uses as much data as possible from other institutions' files. We examine the usability, timeliness and completeness of the data. If the files do not contain the required data or do not contain it in time, we may request the data from businesses. Under the Law, you are obliged to deliver the requested data on time, completely and free of charge. Failure to do so may cost you money via a fine or an administrative penalty.
