CLAMOUR is a European collaborative project which resulted in 2002 in a model which enables the flexible and harmonised use of units and activity classifications in European statistics.

Eurostat has launched a new version of RAMON, the server for international statistical classifications.


The Dutch Standaard Bedrijfsindeling (SBI 2008) is based on the activity classification of the European Union (Nomenclature statistique des activités économiques dans la Communauté Européenne, NACE) and on the classification of the United Nations (International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities, ISIC).


The Combined Nomenclature (CN) is the European Community's classification of goods, which meets requirements in terms of external trade statistics (both intra- and extra-Community) and the customs tariff within the meaning of Article 9 of the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community.
