People over fifty at work (Dutch Only). Evaluation IOW: labour participation and benefits for the older unemployed

In 2006 the Income provision for Older Unemployed Persons act (IOW) was introduced for people who are older than 60 when they apply for an unemployment benefit (WW) and are entitled to this benefit for more than three months. In order to evaluate the IOW, the Centre for Policy Related Statistics has been commissioned by the Dutch Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment to compute figures on the possibilities of older unemployed people to get a new job, and the background characteristics of potential IOW claimants and people with a benefit under the Act on Income Provisions for Older or Partially Disabled Unemployed Persons (IOAW)
