Sharp fall in unemployment
Seasonally corrected unemployment was 357 thousand on average in the period February- April 2007. This is 17 thousand down on the period January-March.

Dutch economic growth was 2.5 percent in the first quarter of 2007 compared with the same quarter last year.
Sizeable increase retail turnover
Retail turnover improved 6.0 percent in March 2007 relative to the same period last year.

Dutch inflation remained unchanged in April. The consumer price index shows that, just as in March, consumer prices were on average 1.8 percent higher than twelve months ago.
