Any form of interaction of a physical, psychological or sexual nature -threatening or violent to a minor- which is actively or passively imposed by parents or other persons on whom the minor is dependent, causing serious physical of psychological harm or threat thereof to the minor. It concerns sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional/psychological abuse, physical/emotional neglect and witnessing of partner violence (definition article 1 Child and Youth Act).
