Unemployment considerably down
Seasonally adjusted unemployment averaged 380 thousand in the period November 2006–January 2007, a reduction by 12 thousand relative to the period October-December 2006.
January's inflation at 1.4 percent
In January 2007, inflation in the Netherlands was 1.4 percent. The rate was higher than in December, when prices were 1.1 percent up on one year previously, as the consumer price index.
