Export of information

The CBS refers to any data you wish to take out of the CBS microdata environment as ‘output’. You may only take information out of the CBS microdata environment by using the export folder. Under no circumstances may you overwrite, photograph or use the ‘print screen’ function to extract data from this environment. This applies to all information you wish to extract from the CBS microdata environment, i.e. content queries, syntax and results. You can find out how to export your data correctly on the page ‘Submitting output’.
Output guidelines
This document covers three aspects of the output guidelines. These are the security guidelines to prevent disclosure, the readability of the output and the technical guidelines. It also includes examples of the various security guidelines, as well as an example of the standard form (filled in).
Submitting output
This section describes the steps involved in submitting output. It sets out the regulations that must be complied with during export, the procedure for preparing the output within the secure environment, and the characteristics of the different types of output.
In addition to the above information, there is also a page with frequently asked questions about output checks. Finally, the Service Catalogue contains further information on the costs involved in an output check.
