Prices of existing owner-occupied dwellings
Prices 16.4 percent up from dip in June 2013
In August 2008 house prices reached a record. Subsequently, they fell to a low in June 2013. Since then, the trend has been upward. House prices are currently 8.6 percent below the record level of August 2008 and 16.4 percent higher relative to the price dip in June 2013. The average price level of owner-occupied houses in March 2017 was about the same as in April 2006.

Number of house sales continues to grow
According to figures released by the Dutch Land Registry Office last Tuesday 21,648 owner-occupied houses were sold in March. In Q1 this year 55,911 houses were sold, an increase by more than 30 percent compared to the same period in 2016.
