Business services increasingly optimistic

Companies in the business services sector expect more orders and a higher turnover in the second quarter. The net percentage of optimists increased further and reached its highest score since April 1998.

The economic survey of business services consists of a quarterly survey among three branches: lease companies, computer service bureaus and other business services (including temporary agencies, advertising agencies, cleaners, engineering firms, accountants and administrative services).

Business services have not been this positive about employment in their branche since July 1998. About 42 percent of the companies in this sector want to employ more people in the second quarter of 2006. Only 5 percent expect to reduce staff.
