In this table the Dutch import, export value, trade balance and annual changes are broken down into sections, divisions and groups according to the Standard International Trade Classification (SITC). The data are further divided into continents and countries according to the Geonomenclature (GEONOM).

Data available from January 2012 through October 2022.

Status of the figures:
The data from January 2012 to December 2021 are final. The data from January 2022 to October 2022 is provisional. Since this table has been discontinued, the data is no longer finalized.

Description topics

Import value
Value of foreign-supplied goods to residents according to the International trade statistics. Imports from EU countries: the value of the goods including freight and insurance to the Dutch border. Imports from non-EU countries: the value including freight and insurance to the border of the European Union.
Export value
The value of goods supplied to foreign residents according to International trade statistics. This is the value including freight and insurance to the Dutch border.
Balance of trade
The value of exports minus imports.
Change in import value
Change as a percentage compared with the same period in the previous year.

Explanation
For a group of countries, a change is only shown if it consists of the same countries as in the previous year.

Changes 2015 are missing due to break in series 2014/2015.
Change in export value
