Knowledge migration in the Netherlands and Europe

Tables and report on international knowledge workers in the Netherlands and 13 other European countries, 2003/2005 en 2016/2018, based on the EU Labour Force Survey.

International knowledge workers are persons that are living in another country than their country of birth and who have a high educational level. Moreover, they belong to the country’s labour force.

Besides the total number of international knowledge workers per country, the following characteristics are presented: country of birth, occupational level, professional status, economic activity and field of highest level of education.
