Well-being 'later' refers to the resources that future generations need to be able to achieve the same level of well-being as the current generation. This relates to financial resources and production capacity ('economic capital'), the quality of the environment and the services she delivers, such as drinking water, renewable energy, and food ('natural capital'), health and knowledge ('human capital'), and mutual trust ('social capital').
