Asylum and integration 2025, 2014-July 2024

Cohort study on asylumseekers, asylum permit holder and Ukrainian refugees who arrived in the Netherlands between 2014 and July 2024 or obtained an asylum residence permit, with figures on family reunification, housing, civic integration, education, employment, benefit dependency, health care utilisation, income and crime.

This research was commissioned by the Dutch Ministries of Social Affairs and Employment, Justice and Security.

In this study, cohorts of asylum seekers and permit holders (including their following family members) are followed from 2014 up to the first half of 2024 and cohorts of Ukrainian refugees who ware protected under the Temporary Protection Directive (TPD) from february 2022 up to the first half of 2024.

This publication consists of a web publication which describes the results (with a summary in English) and an interactive dashboard (in Dutch only).
