Annual Report Youth Monitor 2017 Summary

The Annual Report Youth Monitor 2017 Summary provides insight into the current situation of nearly 5 million young people in the Netherlands. Based on indicators and topics, it describes how the youngest generation (ages 0 to 24) is doing in general.

Topics include the family situation, living and growing up safely, education, labour, alcohol consumption, health, crime and youth care. This year’s edition of the Youth Monitor also discusses the relation between education and youth assistance, the well-being of young adults, and living conditions for the young generation in the Caribbean Netherlands.

The Annual Report is a joint publication by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport and Statistics Netherlands. Its contents are based on figures which have been published on the website shown underneath.
