Migrants

In this article, migrants are defined as anyone who was born outside the Netherlands and migrated to the Netherlands at a given time in the past; who was included in the population register in 2021, is living in the Netherlands, and is part of a private household.
The analyses classified migrants into four origin groups: Europe, Turkey/Morocco, Suriname/Dutch Caribbean, and Other countries.
