Provisional figures
CBS publishes data when more than 95 percent of the death cause certificates over the period for which they are published have been received and processed. This is usually after approximately four months. CBS has received 98.4 percent of all 2021 death certificates on residents who died in the Netherlands. For January 2022, this is 99 percent, for February to September 2022 it is 98 percent, for October to November 2022 it is 97 percent and for December 2022 it is 95 percent.
