Emigrants

Emigration refers to people departing to another country. The figures in this news release also include administrative corrections. Administrative corrections involve removals of people from the population register on the one hand, after the municipality has determined that this person is probably no longer a resident of a Dutch municipality; these are usually unreported emigrations. On the other hand, administrative corrections concern admissions. This is usually a resettlement of someone who was previously administratively removed and who declares that he or she never left the Netherlands. The country of birth of some of these people is not (yet) known in the provisional figures. For the period up to and including September, this concerns 492 persons.
