In August, owner-occupied dwellings (excluding new constructions) were on average 17.8 percent more expensive than in the same month last year. It is the largest increase since October 2000. The price rise moderated slightly in 2019 but picked up again after that. This is evident from price monitoring of existing owner-occupied dwellings by Statistics Netherlands (CBS) and The Netherlands’ Cadastre, Land Registry and Mapping Agency.
