Overnight stays do not only include nights spent at a hotel, holiday park, campsite or group accommodation for recreational purposes, but also nights spent for business purposes. Accommodations which are occupied by seasonal workers, asylum seekers or COVID-19 patients, for instance, are not counted towards the guest numbers.
