The ongoing Holiday Survey (CVO) is an annual survey conducted by CBS in order to collect data on the holiday behaviour of the Dutch population. The CVO is a panel study in which participants are asked questions every three months regarding holidays they took in the preceding quarter. The annual figures published on the basis of the survey are based on participants who have responded to all four measurements in the holiday year under review. As of 2017, this includes around 8,000 persons.
