Figures on (officially) reported crimes are based on the Safety Monitor. A reported crime means the victim reported the most recent incident to the police and indicates this as such in the survey. If the victim also filed and signed an official document (police report), this is an officially reported crime. In addition, crimes reported online are included among officially reported crimes. The willingness to report is expressed as a percentage of the number of crimes that were reported in the Safety Monitor survey.
