To calculate energy costs, the same average electricity and gas consumption levels were used for both 2019 and 2020. These levels are 2,450 kWh of electricity and 1,197 m3 of natural gas on an annual basis. For 2020, this is a forecast calculated by the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL).
