In this news release, the provisional figures on the first three quarters of 2018 are set against the first three quarters of 2017. Meanwhile in our online database StatLine, these figures have been updated with definitive figures. The definitive figures are not established until after the reporting year. These take into account all data on demographic events which are received prior to 15 February of the following year.
