Cash pooling

Cash pooling is a technique used to optimise liquidity management of accounts. It entails combining account balances into one single balance sheet, held in one central account. Interest charges are only debited from this account. This allows deficits in one account to be compensated by surpluses in the other, something which may have particular advantages for companies with a presence in several countries.
