This article deals with the ten most imported species of edible fruit on the basis of import value and species of fruit referred to in chapter 8 of the Combined Nomenclature (CN). To achieve the best basis for comparison of all fruit species, both fresh and dried species are included, i.e. for grapes including currants and sultanas. Other kinds of processed and prepared fruit (e.g. canned pineapple) are not included.
