The number of eligible voters is an estimation of the number of Dutch citizens as at 1 January 2017 who will be of voting age on 15 March 2017. The figures presented are a slight overestimation of the number of eligible voters. Between 1 January and 15 March, approximately 30 thousand persons will have deceased, while between 1 and 15 March, an additional 8 thousand persons will reach voting age.
