Manufacturing prices slightly up on one year previously
Output prices of the Dutch manufacturing industry were 0.3 percent higher in February 2013 than in February 2012. The price increase has become gradually less substantial in recent months.
Factory gate prices
Prices of food, drink and tobacco were nearly 5 percent higher in February than one year previously. Basic metal products, petroleum derivates and products manufactured by the paper and publishing industry were cheaper than in February 2012.
Index factory gate prices
Output prices in the manufacturing industry rose by 0.9 percent in February compared to January. At 1.0 percent, the price increase on the foreign market exceeded that on the domestic market (0.8 percent).
