Health survey

In the satisfaction survey, participants are invited to answer a series of questions about how satisfied they are with the care provided by their GP, medical specialist, dentist and physiotherapist. Survey participants are requested to indicate their satisfaction on a scale from one to ten:

  • GP: please, evaluate your (child’s) GP on a scale from one to ten; 1 represents very bad, 10 represents excellent
  • Medical specialist: please, evaluate your (child’s) medical specialist on a scale from one to ten; 1 represents very bad, 10 represents excellent
  • Dentist: please, evaluate your (child’s) dentist on a scale from one to ten; 1 represents very bad, 10 represents excellent
  • Physiotherapist: please, evaluate your (child’s) physiotherapist on a scale from one to ten; 1 represents very bad, 10 represents excellent

These questions are only submitted to respondents who have indicated that they have consulted the health care providers mentioned above in the year prior to the survey.

The state of health of the respondents, their perceived health, is defined on the basis of answers to the question: ‘How would you evaluate your general state of health?’ Possible answers are ‘very good’, ‘good’, ‘rather well’, ‘poor’ and ‘very poor’.
