Households are identified by main source of income, living situation, household composition, age classes of the head of the household, income class by 20% groups.

Statistics Netherlands has carried out a revision of the national accounts. New statistical sources and estimation methods have been used during the revision. - Net worth equals the financial assets minus the liabilities plus the non-financial assets. Up to and including 2010 these data concern the households sector including the non-profit institutions serving households. From 2011 onwards these non-profit institutions serving households are no longer included for assets and liabilities, but still included in non-financial assets.
