Based on article codes, the drugs are classified by ATC class (Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical classification system). In this WHO (World Health Organization) classification, drugs are divided into different groups according to the organ or system which they affect and/or their therapeutic and chemical characteristics.- Some groups of drugs
- Drugs for obstructive airway diseases

- Total of persons for whom a basis of indication has been recorded.
Basis of indication
Reason why someone cannot perform certain activities independently and needs help to do so. The basis of indication is determined independently by the Centre for Healthcare Indication (Centrum Indicatiestelling Zorg, CIZ).
- Somatic condition
- Persons with an indication for residential care based on a somatic condition
Somatic condition:
Current physical illness or condition. A condition that is characterized by stable phases and can (still) be cured or improved by medical and/or paramedical treatment in the event of aggravation has as its basis somatic disease, and not the basis physical disability.
If there are permanent limitations that are not caused by disorders of the nervous system or the musculoskeletal system (bone/muscle system, joints and connective tissue), the basis for somatic condition also applies. This is also the case in a terminal situation.
- Psychogeriatric disorder
- Persons with an indication for residential care based on a psychogeriatric disorder

Mental disability
Disability in which the person scores below average on a general intelligence test (IQ of 70 or lower) and has permanent limitations in the area of social skills. Both have arisen before the age of 18.
Based on historical considerations, there is agreement in the Netherlands that, if there are severe and chronic limitations in social skills, learning disabilities and/or behavioral problems, an IQ score between 70 and 85 may also be interpreted as an intellectual disability. This is then referred to as a mild intellectual disability.
- Sensory disability
- Persons with an indication for residential care based on a sensory disability
Sensory disability
Visual or auditory communication disability or a (very) severe speech/language problem. The speech/language problem has an in-person cause.
