Measuring income in a globalized economy

An explorative search for a macro-economic framework based on business models.
The ‘production heart’ of the SNA is the base for the traditional breakdown of macro-economic indicators to industries. This breakdown however, shows only one side of the way an economy operates, the way products are produced i.e. production processes. Business models that companies apply in order to make money are not in scope in an industry classification and might shed a different light on an economy.
