Cooperation

Cooperation with other stakeholders, including government and scientific institutions, is crucial for CBS to perform its statutory task well. It helps raise the quality of existing statistical services, raises knowledge and skills to a higher level and, partly thanks to collaborations, invests in innovative methods of data collection and processing and information provision.

The - direct or indirect - aim of this collaboration is always to take steps towards future-proof, relevant and independent statistics. For CBS, cooperation is therefore a means to an end rather than an end in itself. Broadly speaking, CBS distinguishes cooperation with data suppliers, such as administrators of government registers or businesses, cooperation with universities, universities of applied science and other knowledge institutes, thematic cooperation in consortia, international cooperation and cooperation with users.

Under the Open Government Act, our website will also contain an overview of available covenants.
