Business cycle
The Business Cycle Tracer is a tool to trace the performance of the Dutch economy. It brings together almost all important economic information as published by CBS over the past month or quarter. An important characteristic is that it is cyclical: periods of high growth alternate with periods of hardly any growth or even contraction.
In the Business Cycle Tracer of mid-July 2023, 6 out of 13 indicators performed better than their long-term trend.
