Household incomes

Statistics Netherlands (CBS) provides up-to-date information on the latest changes in household incomes in the Netherlands. This page provides an overview of these reports.

The figures are based on gross disposable income, which is the income available to the household sector after the redistribution of primary income through mandatory and voluntary transfers of income between sectors. Real disposable income, meanwhile, is disposable income after adjusting for the effect of inflation.

The data comes from the quarterly sector-specific accounts, which provide a quantitative description of the Netherlands’ economic process as well as economic transactions involving other countries.
