Inflation slightly down

In May, Dutch inflation was 1.0 percent, i.e. 0.1 percentage points down on April. The small decrease was mainly caused by petrol price developments.

Local authorities in the Netherlands expect to receive 12.5 billion euro in local taxes in 2013. This is 2.6 percent more than in 2012.
