Inventory Producer Price Index

The prices of industrial products are constantly changing. Statistics Netherlands (CBS) monitors these prices and publishes monthly figures on price changes, to provide an insight into the manufacturing sector. In order to produce these figures, we need data from producers and importers on the prices they pay and the prices they charge others.

In order to collect this price data, we first need to know for which specific raw materials, products or services prices are being quoted. To find this out, we will ask you to complete the inventory questionnaire. You will be sent the inventory questionnaire when your company is first asked to take part in the Producer Price Index survey. Alternatively, you may also receive the questionnaire when your company is being updated for the Producer Price Index survey.
