A residential space refers to a form of housing of various types of accommodations where people have permanent or long-term shelter to live and sleep. All dwellings fall under this category, as well as offices or other non-dwellings used as (temporary) residential space. Also, caravans and houseboats intended for living belong to residential spaces (occupied pitches and moorings). Examples: dwellings, nursing homes, AZCs, boarding schools, emergency accommodation for refugees, etc.
