A legal entity established by owners of an apartment complex or a building with multiple owners. The VvE aims to protect the common interests of the owners, such as the management and maintenance of the shared parts of the building, arranging insurance, and collecting service charges. The owners are jointly responsible for the management and maintenance of the building, and the VvE ensures that this responsibility is fulfilled.
