Bankruptcy rate and bankruptcies

The number of sole proprietorships, companies, and institutions declared bankrupt by court order, adjusted for the effect of the number of court hearing days per month.

The bankruptcy rate is the number of bankruptcies per 100 thousand businesses (legal units). The total figure is adjusted for court session days, whereas the bankruptcy rate by sector is not.
