Other forms of industrial action

Other forms of industrial action (formal or informal) taken by employees in response to a dispute with their employer, with the aim of enforcing their demands without reducing their working hours. It may mean that work is not carried out (in full) or is carried out less effectively, however.

Since industrial action arising from a dispute may escalate into a strike, a single industrial dispute may be counted as both a strike and other form of industrial action. Legal disputes or employment disputes are not counted in this category.
