The classification by agricultural holding type is based on their economic size, which is measured by the total standard output value in euros. A holding is classified as a livestock farm if two-thirds or more of its total standard output comes from agricultural activities related to this holding type. Non-grazing livestock species are pigs, various types of poultry and common rabbits.
