Own consumption and Final energy consumption

In this article, consumption refers to the sum of own consumption and final energy consumption. This applies to both electricity supplied through the grid and self-generated electricity.

Own consumption not only includes consumption by electricity production plants, but also the consumption of electricity by companies in the energy sector such as refineries and blast furnaces.

Final energy consumption is the consumption of the end users of electricity.
