The term business economy is used internationally to refer to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The business economy does not include the government sector. Other sectors that are not included in the business economy are agriculture, financial services, education, care, culture, sports and recreation, hobby and interest groups and other personalised services. Therefore, the business economy is only part of all economic activities.
