The European method for compiling producer confidence differs slightly from the Dutch method. Producer confidence published by CBS on StatLine is adjusted for deviations, bringing the long-term average to zero. On average, the figure according to the Dutch definition is slightly higher than the figure according to the European method, but follows the same trend.
