The purpose of the End of Life Survey is to provide a detailed statistical description of medical end-of-life decisions. The survey has been commissioned by ZonMw and conducted jointly by Erasmus Medical Centre, the VU University Medical Center and Statistics Netherlands (CBS). ZonMw is an organisation that funds health research and promotes the use of the knowledge developed to improve care and health.
