From 14 March to 31 July 2020 inclusive, no persons were summoned for the enforcement of their sentence (self-reporters). This concerns people convicted of relatively minor offences with short sentences. During this period, substitute custody for unpaid fines or uncompleted community service sentences were not enforced (arrestees). In order to comply with the general COVID-19 guidelines, part of the capacity of correctional facilities could not be used.
